With the white tees well back from the yellows (and a short bus ride from the Reds!), a pulled shot bouncing down the road for a distance before flicking back onto the fairway, is always welcome when it sometimes happens. Unusually for Blankney, here all the trouble is on the right, except for the well placed pot bunker, which will catch the long hitters from the White tees, but is definitely in play from the yellows for most people.
A long second shot should avoid the bunkers on the left, but ideally should be placed low left to look straight up the green. The green has a large tier, and slopes from left to right, offering a challenging end to this long par-five.
