Pro's Tip

With most holes the position of the tee markers doesn’t make too much difference to the type of shot played. Here is the exception, for the hole plays very differently when the markers are placed on the right side of the tee. This opens up the possibility of trying to draw the ball around the trees in front of you, a much more difficult shot than a fade, which is suitable from the left side of the tee. Left-handers have similar problems.

Once you have played your tee shot, the hole presents an easy par with the odd birdie for players of all standards. Beware though, when the flag is tucked away on the far right of the green, trying to be too cute can be costly and can cause a disappointing bogey. The green is flat, but narrow, and prone to swirling winds.
